Slow Cooker Sausage and Sauerkraut
In Germany, pork sausages such as bratwurst are often sold by vendors as street food, with a side of sauerkraut and German potato salad. German communities in the US, celebrate pork sausages with a variety of seasonings, often which include marjoram and coriander. They are sometimes steeped and grilled but there many ways in which they can be prepared and enjoyed. This dish skips the potato salad but includes russet potato cooked low and slow with the well paired combination of sausage and sauerkraut. Enjoying this with yellow mustard: a must!
