Ingredients

  • 1 pound pork sirloin tip
  • 1 8-ounce can of tomato sauce
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
  • tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed or minced
  • 3 sandwich rolls or buns

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients except pork loin roast into slow cooker and stir to mix.
  • Add pork roast and turn over a couple of times to coat the meat. Turn on slow cooker to low and allow to cook for 6-8 hours.
  • Remove pork from pot and drain liquid into a measuring cup.
  • With two forks, begin to shred apart pork roast. Add about half the liquid from your slow cooker to your pork and mix together.
  • Prepare your sandwich–Sweet Hawaiian hoagies or hamburger buns are a good choice, and best eaten with a good coleslaw. Top each sandwich with a bit of the extra sauce left. Enjoy!
