EQUIPMENT SUGGESTIONS

Ingredients
- 1 Pita Bread, Papa Pita Greek Pita Bread
- ½ tablespoon olive oil, drizzled or brushed
TOPPINGS
- 1-2 tablespoons pesto sauce
- ¼ cup part-skim mozzarella, sliced or shredded
- 6 thin strips green bell pepper
- 1 thin slice of red onion, cut into strips
- 2 tablespoons feta cheese crumbles
- 5-6 kalamata olives, halved
- ¼ cup arugula
Instructions
- Place a cookie sheet or baking tray in oven and heat to 400 degrees.
- Drizzle some olive oil on one side of pita bread and carefully place on the hot tray. Leave in oven 3 minutes to crisp a bit.
- Remove pita bread and add toppings in order listed EXCEPT the arugula. Place in oven for approximately 8 minutes or until cheese looks melted and pita bread is slightly browned. Remove and add arugula. Cut with a pizza cutter and enjoy.
