10-12blackberries, pureed with muddler yields 1 ounce pureed
1 ½teaspoonssuper fine sugar
¾ounceSt. Germaine
½ouncelemon juice
1 ½ouncesvodka
Instructions
In a glass, muddle blackberries with 1 ½ teaspoons super fine sugar which should yield an ounce. Taste for desired sweetness. If not sweet enough, can add up to 1/2 teaspoon more sugar.

In a metal shaker, fill with ice then add all ingredients. Shake several times. Pour through a fine mesh strainer into a martini glass or other cocktail glass. Salut!

Superfine sugar dissolves faster than granulated sugar and can easily be made on hand by pulsing granulated sugar in a food processor or blender.
