Ingredients
 

  • 1.5 ounces favorite tequila , Casa Nobel Añejo is a good choice
  • 1 ounce fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 0.5 ounce Cointreau
  • 0.25 ounce simple syrup
  • 2 ounces coconut cream or cream of coconut , Trader Joes carries a good one
  • kosher salt, lime zest and sugar for glass rim
  • lime wedge for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Mix equal parts: sugar, salt and lime zest on a plate. Take lime wedge and rub along rim of glass then dip rim into plate of salt mix. Shake off excess and fill with ice. 
  • In a metal shaker, add the tequila, lime, Cointreau, simple syrup and coconut. Shake well and pour into glass. Add your lime wedge garnish and enjoy!
