¼inchslice of a large red onion , then sliced into strips
¼ cupraw pecans, finely chopped and toasted
3ouncescream cheese
¼cupblue cheese, crumbled
Instructions
Set oven to bake at 325 degrees.
Place bacon in a small frying pan over low heat. Add onion and cook together until bacon is evenly brown and crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to soak up grease.

In a small saute pan, toast pecans over medium heat and stir for 3-4 minutes. Nuts will become fragrant. Remove from pan to cool.
1/4 cup raw pecans
Add cream cheese and blue cheese to a small baking ramekin.
3 ounces cream cheese
1/4 cup blue cheese
Mix crumbled bacon into the cheeses. Add caramelized onion to top and bake for 10 minutes at 325 degrees.
Remove from oven and top with pecans. Serve warm with bread or crackers.
